Delicious Magazine, Produce Awards 2010

Established producers setting industry benchmarks were joined by exciting new operators, as the votes were counted in the 2010 Produce Awards. Once again, our national judges – Maggie Beer, All Wolf-Tasker, Matt Moran, Neil Perry, Cheong Liew and Philip Johnson – tasted their way through more than 50 finalists in the Earth, Dairy, Paddock and Sea categories.


For the remaining awards, the judges were joined by John Lethlean and Necia Wilden, co-editors of Food + Wine at the Australian, Jane Adams of the Australian Farmers’ Markets Association (AFMA), project manager Libby Travers and the magazine’s Trudi Jenkins, Valli Little and Matt Preston.


“Every great meal, whether at home or in a fancy restaurant, stars with good produce”, says Matt Preston. “These awards shine a spotlight on our food heroes, people who are raising the bar on what great produce means.”


We extend a huge thanks to all those who made this possible, including our sponsors Dilmah and Qantas, and of course all the entrants – we hope to see you back better than ever in 2011.
