PARADISE IS SERVED!
The World's best lunch – 30th April 2011
Yes indeed, it’s on again, and on behalf of the Toowong Rowing Club, Jack Hutchinson and Cal Malouf would love you to join them for THE WORLD’S BEST LUNCH at the world’s best rowing club.
Feast on freshly-shucked oysters cushioned in their shells, succulent Moreton Bay bug tails, Queensland’s finest scallops and fishes aflame with flavours conducted masterfully by Philip Johnson of E’cco fame, Australia’s top chef and Queensland gourmet god.
“If restaurants were fashion items, E’cco Bistro would be the little black dress” – Gourmet Traveller
Savour the world’s finest champagnes, drinking in the knowledge of Bernadette O’Shea,
the most-awarded champagne expert on the globe, the goddess of golden bubbles.
“Bernadette speaks of champagne with such poetry and sensitivity than when you listen to her you hear the bubbles” – Frederic Heidsieck,
Champagne Louis Roederer
Be inspired by title-taking Craggy Range wines, from the depths of Mary-Jeanne Hutchinson’s cellar. Experience back vintages not otherwise seen or available at Mary-Jeanne’s tasting table.
“Single vineyard, single minded” – Steve Smith, MW, Craggy Range Winery
Approach with caution Jack Hutchinson’s moored ‘Margaritaville’, onboard which the blender will render Jack’s infamous Sunset Margaritas, loaded with his imported 100% Agave tequila. “Tequila makes her clothes fall off” – Joe Nichols
